Pink Pilates contestants

Established in 2005, Pink Pilates is a programme specifically designed to help women with cancer regain their strength.  Run by qualified Pink Pilates physiotherapists, the programme aims to improve the quality of life of those women battling cancer through improving their fitness, strength, fatigue levels and self belief among many things.  Due to the popularity of the programme The Pink Pilates Trust was created to help ease the financial burden for those women eligible to participate in the programme.

On the 17th of September Pink Pilates therapists’ Ebony Hornibrook and Nicola Judkins along with several members, friends and family of Team Pink Pilates are running in the Surburban Schools Whale Run to raise funds to support this fantastic programme.  They need all the help they can get, so please check out http://www.everydayhero.co.nz/nicola_judkins and donate to the Pink Pilates Trust.  For more information on Pink Pilates please go to http://www.pinkpilates.co.nz

You’re looking at the new Kaikoura Whale Run

fun for all the family

You’re welcome to the Kaikoura Whale Run, the FUN event for everyone.

Thanks to Rachel and John at Kaikoura Four Square in the West End of Kaikoura, we bring you the Kaikoura Whale Run.

We’ve taken the Kaikoura Suburban 1/2 marathon, given it a nice fresh coat of paint and added some new bits. Still the same great courses with the variety that contestants love and the nice range of events so the whole family can have a crack at a challenge.

Rachel and John came to us and reckoned more folk should enjoy our great event. Come on they said, this is the fifth year of this event, you know what you’re doing, it’s unique, it’s as serious or fun as people want it to be, let’s crank it up.

So we’re all set and we challenge you to get or stay fit over the winter ready to rock n roll on 17 September.

We have some special help for you too. We have some key players from the Kaikoura keep fit scene to give you ideas on what you can be doing to get to healthy and happy fitness. Watch this place for motivating and challenging ideas from Kim, Emma and Jude. Careful though, these Chicks may try and push you a bit to challenges you never thought you could do!

Get fit, have fun and be healthy and happy ready for 17 Sept – The Kaikoura Whale Run.
